Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to every order placed with The Gentry through this website or over WhatsApp.
Orders and acceptance
Placing an order is an offer to buy. The order is accepted once we confirm it with you and arrange delivery. If a product is out of stock we will tell you and either hold the order or refund you in full.
Prices and payment
All prices are in Kenyan Shillings (KES) and include VAT where it applies. Delivery is charged separately and quoted before dispatch. We may change prices at any time, but never after your order is confirmed.
Delivery
Delivery timelines on our Delivery & Returns page are good-faith estimates, not guarantees — couriers, weather and addresses vary. We are responsible for getting your order to the courier promptly and for keeping you informed.
Returns
Our returns position is set out in full on the Delivery & Returns page. In short: anything damaged, leaking or wrongly supplied is replaced or refunded, and unopened products can be returned within 7 days.
Using the products safely
Our products are cosmetics for external use only. Follow the directions on the label, keep them away from eyes and broken skin, and stop using a product if it irritates you. If you have a known skin condition or allergy, patch test first or speak to a pharmacist or dermatologist. Nothing on this site is medical advice, and our products do not diagnose, treat or cure any condition.
Intellectual property
The Gentry name, the nuutGuard, nuutFresh and nuutWash product names, our logo, photography and site copy belong to The Gentry. Please do not reuse them commercially without written permission.
Liability
We stand behind our products and will put right anything we get wrong. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits rights you have under Kenyan consumer law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
These terms are provided in good faith and should be reviewed by a qualified advocate before you rely on them commercially.
